If you’ve read my bio, you know I enjoy Star Wars . . . which itself is an understatement. Needless to say, I’m stoked for the newest Star Wars movie, Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Out-of-my-mind excited.
So when I saw that there’s a virtual tour of new planet Jakku, I toured it immediately.
It exceeded my expectations: I was on a speeder bike, racing down the terrain like Rey, I could see the downed Imperial cruiser (!), I could look at miles and miles of sand (are we sure this isn’t just Tatooine?). It was like being on the planet, giving me a taste of what the movie experience is going to be like, and, if possible, I’m now even more excited for the movie.
It also reminded me of the Google Business View virtual tours we shoot. The Google tours take users (potential customers, current clients, people halfway across the country or the world) through a walking buy z pak antibiotics online tour of your restaurant, studio, showroom, workspace, library . . . your world, to get them excited to come see it in person. Like the Star Wars tour, it doesn’t have to show everything or explain what everything is—by showing off your location’s best attributes, you can get people familiar with what you have to offer them and how you stand out from the rest of the competition.
No matter how many Google tours we do, the thrill of getting to see new locations and tour businesses never gets old. I think all of us have that inner explorer that craves mapping the terrain before we arrive at a new destination.
