“Books. People never really stop loving books.”

This quote is uttered by a time-traveler who, at the time, is in the Fifty-First century on a planet called The Library. While The Doctor from BBC’s Doctor Who needs his space-traveling TARDIS to explore library-planets, you can discover the futuristic-looking Niles Public Library from the comfort of your home using Google’s Business View.

We recently had the privilege of working with the Niles Public Library for one of the best Google business tours we’ve ever shot for Google Maps. When a location looks this good, they make it easy.

When a library card holder walks through the doors, they are greeted by a checkout counter with a rainbow of color behind it. Kids will immediately notice the lit portal that will take them to the brightly colored children’s section, where they can let their imaginations shine. The second floor has a wooden rafted ceiling reminiscent of a comfy deep woods lodge, with plenty of space and chairs to add to the cozy feeling. The third floor is a little more utilitarian but patrons can roam the shelves lit by the natural light pouring in from the tall, high windows and skylight. And the basement is the perfect hideaway for teenagers, complete with comfy chairs and video game consoles.

You can take our word for it that all of the above actually exists in a public library, or you can check it out for yourself. With Google Business View, potential customers and clients can step inside your company without ever having to leave their computer or mobile device. They can take a virtual tour of your location and decide immediately that it’s the right fit for them.

If you like what you’ve seen, why not drop us a line and see how we can put our Google business photography to work for you!
