Just like daylight savings time (happening in a few weeks) gives us an extra hour one day a year, just to take it away six months later, Leap Year gives us a whole extra day every four years. And aren’t we in luck that this Monday is the 29th of February?
So the questions is what are you going to do to take advantage of the 24 extra hours you get this year? Here are a few of our suggestions.
Binge Watch
House of Cards drops on Netflix in a few days, so maybe you’ll want to catch up on that. Or maybe you’re one of the few people who still haven’t seen Sherlock; fair warning though, once you start, you won’t want to stop. In honor of Leap Day, you could watch Leap Year where a woman travels to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day.
Start Spring Cleaning
Spring doesn’t officially start until mid-March but you could get a jump start on spring cleaning. Tidying up your work space will not only help when needing to find a file, but it will dapoxetine (generic priligy®) also help clean out your mind as well. And who doesn’t love inbox zero?
Become Politically Knowledgeable
As you probably know, in addition to being a leap year, this year is also an election year. And it can seem so time-consuming to find out where all the candidates, both national and local, stand on the issues that are important to you. So now that you have a whole extra day, why not get prepared for the election?
Get Ahead
The first quarter of 2016 comes to a close at the end of March, so use this extra day to see where you’re stacking up to your goals and develop strategies to keep making progress.
Work in Style
Frogs are often associated with Leap Year, so why not dress up like a frog and leap to work? It could brighten up your co-workers’ day, plus you’d get a good leg workout.
