My mom is a third grade teacher and she used to teach Illinois and Chicago history as part of her yearly curriculum. As she and her teaching partners were figuring out how to bring history alive in their classrooms, my mother went to as many museums and cultural centers around the city as she could.
One of these times, when I was younger, she was researching Casimir Pulaski—for those who don’t know, Chicago celebrates Casmir Pulaski Day the first Monday in March to commemorate the Polish-born “father of the American cavalry”—and I went along. We stopped at the Polish Museum of America on Milwaukee and learned from one of the docents about all the Casmir Pulaski did for the Americans during the Revolutionary War and about the mystery and conflicting reports surrounding his remains.
Now, years later, I had the privilege of where to buy accutane in the philippines going back to the same building to work with Polish Roman Catholic Union of America on their new responsive website project. The fraternal benefit society wanted to create an engaging site where members could stay up-to-date with news and events, while potential members could learn more about the benefits of membership.
We condensed content and streamlined the user experience to make it easier for members to know what’s happening in the organization. The new site uses dropdown menus to give users a convenient way to navigate the site, and the homepage pulls in various blog posts, allowing users to stay up-to-date all from the homepage. Pictures from the blogs pull into the homepage, refreshing the look every time a new blog is published.
